Shanti Charities is a non-profit organization's that strives to make the community a safer place by teaching individuals how to take care of themselves and help others in the time of an emergency. With backgrounds ranging from medicine to teaching and community service, we are a diverse group of volunteers that believe everyone should have the ability to save lives and the opportunity to learn how to live a healthy lifestyle. Shanti Charities currently holds an array of free classes to promote these causes.

The programs offered are important because many ethnicities are more likely to suffer from cardiac arrest due to small coronary arteries, stressful lifestyles, and high cholesterol diets. Also, they are genetically prone to suffer from diabetes. So, learning CPR and attending many of our seminars will help participants lead healthier lives and may allow them to one day save the life of someone that they love.
